MA space – Workshop: Cyanotypes by the Sea with Rachel Mounsey – 4, 6, 11, 13 January 2017

A Mallacoota Arts Space one day workshop. The Cyanotype is a cameraless photographic process that made its debut in 1842 just three short years after the “official” announcement of the discovery of photography.

Local photographic artist Rachel Mounsey will give an introductory workshop where participants will learn to create elegant deep-sea blue prints using found objects from the ocean.

Participants are invited to create small practice prints building up to a final artwork to take home and love forever. Cyanotypes are so good they can even outlast your grandchildren’s children!
