Mallacoota Arts Council’s next exhibition will be More Than Words – an investigation by artists and writers into the marriage between the written word and art.
The theme of this exhibition is Text in Art (artwork with text), Text about Art (poetry or prose in response to an artwork – see our selection of paintings here ) and Art about Text (illustrative work about a published text).
MAC extends an invitation to all artists and writers to incorporate elements of text in an artwork and/or to produce prose or poetry in response to these selected artworks (no more than 200 words). Readings of selected contributions will take place on Opening Night.
